Our family consists of Joshua and his wife Olivia and our daughter Jenna. It is our greatest joy seeing them flourish as young adults following Christ.
We were born and grew up near Springfield, MO. We have served at Riverside Community Church in the Pittsburgh area for 23+ years. RCC is a multi-site church and we facilitate a team of incredible leaders at both the Oakmont and Pittsburgh Mills locations. We are devoted to discipling others and helping them to become fully devoted followers of Jesus.
David is a chocoholic, a tennis fanatic and loves electronic gadgets. Amie loves nature and a good cup of coffee. Together we enjoy traveling, reading, biking and hanging out with our family.
The desire of our hearts is to serve God’s purpose for our lives. We want to do that now – in our own generation. Not tomorrow or yesterday – today! We have given ourselves to Him completely. All that we have and all that we are is to serve God’s purpose.
"Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God." (Colossians 3:1–3)
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)
We are a family who has been found by Jesus. We follow Him. Not perfectly. But passionately. And with His help it is our desire to embody these powerful words ...
“Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.” (James 3:1)
“You must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine.” (Titus 2:1)
“In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.” (Titus 2:7,8)
“I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.” (Philippians 3:10,11)
“I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work You gave me to do.” (John 17:4)
